  • Reflect on School Field Visit insights through guided dialogue and collaborative reflection, connecting learning to implementation planning

  • Participate in hands-on Workshops focused on Implementing Sustainable Experiential Learning and Learning from Experience & Scaling Impact

  • Hear voices from the field through a Practitioner Panel exploring where to next for Experiential Learning and future-facing practice

  • Consolidate learning, connect insights to local contexts, and identify key takeaways to support continued collaboration, innovation, and impact beyond the EduForum

When and where does EduForum take place?

EduForum: Advancing Experiential Learning takes place March 24-26, 2026, in Toronto, with sessions hosted at OISE, University of Toronto, and curated school field visits to Ontario elementary and secondary schools across the Greater Toronto Area (transportation to and from school field visits is included).

Who should attend EduForum?

EduForum is designed for educators and education leaders working across public, private, and independent school contexts in Ontario and Canada.

This includes classroom educators, teacher-leaders, instructional coaches, school administrators (principals and vice-principals), system and centrally assigned leaders, aspiring and emerging leaders, and education innovators and partners committed to advancing Experiential Learning in practice.

What will I gain from participating?

You will:

• Deepen your understanding of Experiential Learning through workshops, panels, and curated field visits to Ontario elementary and secondary schools
• Explore practical frameworks and tools for implementation and sustainability
• Reflect with peers through guided inquiry

How do I register and what is the cost?

Registration is $799+HST per participant, to register:

  • You will be prompted to log into the Learner Portal
  • Create an account, or use the “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” functions as needed 
  • Note: Password reset links expire after 30 minutes; if this occurs, simply repeat the reset process 
  • Complete your registration and submit payment online by credit card 
What's included in the registration fee?
Your registration covers full participation in the three-day EduForum program, including:

• Expert facilitation
• Access to exemplar schools during field visits
• All program materials
• Refreshments and lunch each day
• Transportation to and from field visit locations

 

What happens after I register?
  • You will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration and payment
  • A Welcome Email with event details and preparation materials will follow closer to the event date 
What if registration is full?
  • In the event that the EduForum you have selected is full, you may be able to place your name on a wait list
  • Wait lists are not available for every EduForum – if a wait list is available, you will see a link to it on the this landing page. If you add your name to the list, you'll be notified if a space becomes available for registration 
What is the Withdrawal and Refund Policy for the EduForum?

Withdrawal Deadline for Refund:
• Participant withdrawals received by 12:00 PM EST on March 9, 2026 are eligible for a 100% refund

How to Withdraw:
• To withdraw, email a written request to oise.cpl@utoronto.ca by the deadline noted above
No refunds will be issued for participant withdrawals received after March 9, 2026

Program Cancellations:
• All EduForums are subject to sufficient registration
• OISE Continuing & Professional Learning reserves the right to cancel an EduForum if minimum registration is not achieved
• A full refund will be issued in the event of a cancellation

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes, all participants receive a certificate of participation from OISE Continuing & Professional Learning, University of Toronto upon EduForum completion.

Can I use professional development funds to attend EduForum?

EduForum is an in-province professional learning experience aligned with Ontario education priorities, with a focus on Experiential Learning, professional capacity, and school improvement. Many Ontario schools and school boards provide professional learning allocations for experiences like this.

Participants are encouraged to check with their supervisor regarding eligibility and access to school- or board-level professional development funding to support attendance.

A justification letter template is available to support approval requests.
